What led her here.

Mara was the youngest of two children her mother and father the two greatest actors of the time. After their deaths, at the hands of the world’s greatest Exalted hero, she was left to be adopted. In turn the two of them were utterly robbed by those left to take care of them. As this went on Mara, and her brother Zeek were sent to different homes to live out their lives. Which is why Lightning Fast has a Liverpool accent. When her brother turned 18, he took guardianship of her. Selling his first invention, he funded her trip to the Olympics. Where she won medals in all the events in gymnastics. From here she went home. Training in cage fighting, battling crime, and sleeping in the gym at night. Such a life went on for years. Until she hunted down a villain named Artist, who kidnaped a public official. She failed in her attempt to stop him.

Getting an air-powered injector shot into her "Green Eye". This act gave her the capabilities she now has. Nanites gifted her the ability to control and produce forms of lightning. Instant healing, as well as enhancing her body beyond human limits. Her aura, or liquid metal armor can sustain her in even the depths of space.
