What led her here.

The beginning of Mao’s life was not a good one. She grow up in the Chinese sex trade, being addicted to heroin at an early age. The animatronic tail added to her spine was attached to her, because her owner at the time thought it would get her more Jons. The moment it was done healing, from the agonizing surgery Mao broke his neck, and escaped. She ended up hiding in the Forbidden city. To live she stole food, gaining the name shadow of the forbidden city. Alone the little cat detoxed herself. It was the hardest thing she had ever done, yet she wanted to be free from her past. When she met Mara, they were at odds, something Lightning Fast squashed quickly. Throughout the war she was a valuable teammate, being in the squad which took down the group's traitor. She did so not without taking having a rough go at it. Kicked through walls, and damn near choked to death, she fought on. When the end of the conflict came, she wanted nothing to do with holding power, gladly taking the position of mascot for The Star Empress. The has become the face of the Mara brand.
